The Academy is committed to safeguarding children and young people.

If you are short-listed for interview, your referees will be asked to provide references before interview.

  • You will have to apply for an Enhanced CRB check.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • If you know that you are barred from work with children (i.e. you are on List 99, the PoCA List or have a Disqualification Order, or from October 2009, that you are on the ISA barred lists), you should not apply to work with children.

The Academy's wide range of facilities includes a Theatre, large Learning Resource Unit, a computer network with up to 900 stations and associated peripherals, state-of-the-art Science Laboratories and Technology areas, Media and Music Suites.
