About The Business Academy Bexley

The Business Academy Bexley is a publicly funded independent ‘Academy’, which specialises in Business and Enterprise. It is owned and managed by a charitable trust company – Bexley Business Academy Ltd and is sponsored by Sir David Garrard, who is committed to establishing and maintaining it as a special seat of learning. The Chair of Governors is Tim Garnham.

Independent of the Local Education Authority, The Business Academy Bexley is the Government’s flagship Academy, pioneering the way for other publicly funded Independent schools in the future.

The Secondary Sector currently accommodates 1,000 11-18 years old students, the Primary Sector accommodates 420 5 -11 year olds and the Neighbourhood Nursery accommodates up to 90 infants from 3 months old to 4 years.

The Business Academy Bexley provides a continuity of education that is not available elsewhere in the state sector in the UK.
