Year 10 Art students impress at the Royal Academy of Arts

Academy art students impressed staff at the Royal Academy of Arts when they attended a Rubens Workshop.  The feedback from the workshop leaders was extremely positive about their effort and concentration throughout the day. The year 10 students amazed staff with their contributions in the group discussions which offered imaginative, creative responses and interpretations to the art works being discussed.

Students listened and took part in discussions around works of art and offered their own opinions and reflections on the pieces.  They were then tasked to create a group piece of art themselves and present it back to each other.

We are extremely proud of the GCSE art students whom were excellent ambassadors for the Academy, showing how fun and enjoyable they are to work with.
