Christmas celebrated at the Academy

The annual whole Academy Christmas celebration evening was a huge success, being hosted by the year 12 BTEC Business studies students.
The evening was themed and saw the business court turned into a street scene, complete with postbox, telephone box, street lighting and traffic lights.
All the performances received massive applause and included primary and secondary choirs, percussion band, house enterprise competition winners, and traditional Christmas carols which everyone enjoyed singing.
Very special thanks to Miss Hargreaves, Mr Dennis Mr Tingley, the BTEC students, the primary choir led by Ms Ogunde, the secondary choir led by Ms Reid and the Salvation Army Brass Band for whom the proceeds will be donated.
