Stallholders rule on Greenwich market
Story date: 08/12/2008 Article by Guy Hewson
As part of their coursework for BTEC Business, 40 year 11 students took part in selling pieces of art kindly donated from the Art department and hand made lanterns at Greenwich market.
The students were required to demonstrate personal selling for their assessment in BTEC First Business. Students gave up their own personal time during the weekend wearing Academy t-shirts. It was a great (but cold) weekend and the students worked incredibly hard throughout the day.
Customers and stallholders gave real support to the students, commenting upon their professionalism and enthusiasm which was something to be totally proud of.
Huge thanks must go to Miss. Lowden for organising an incredibly rewarding and successful weekend.
