Year 6 Residential Trip
Tuesday on the Isle of Wight
Report from Group 1 - Having great fun with friends and teachers. Year 6 have conquered their fears and climbed the very high pole to jump onto the trapeze. We hope parents aren't missing their children too much!!
Highlights of day 2:
Group 3 went on the giant swing, outside climbing, fencing and problem solving. Everyone gave all the activities a go and also enjoyed celebrating a birthday - singing Happy Birthday to Grace while she was at the top of the giant swing.
Group 1 did a Tunnel Trail in complete darkness looking for treasure and Problem Solving where the children decided the best way to cooperate was to bark orders which worked most of the time... - 'left, right, left, right, left... Left... LEFT!!!.
Group 2 did some Ladder Logic and had to take a ladder (called Larry) around an obstacle course. Mrs Brown had to do a forfeit and now has to go on the giant swing. They also did a climbing wall with Group 4 and the children worked together to encourage each other to climb as high as they could.
