Senior Invigilators
The Academy is currently looking to recruit senior invigilators for the forthcoming examination seasons. The hourly rate is £10.18 per hour. Senior Invigilators play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of exams at the Academy, as well as promoting good exam practice and making sure that all regulations are adhered to. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be given. Work is mainly centered around the key exam periods namely December, January and June. Duties include setting up exam rooms, distribution and collection of examination paper and other items plus overseeing candidates' work. All successful candidates will be subject to a enhanced CRB application. Catering Assistant
The Academy is looking for a Catering Assistant to join the catering team from January 2009. Hours of work between 7am and 3pm, 5 days a week, 40 weeks per year. It is essential that applicants hold a current Basic Food Hygiene certificate along with relevant catering experience. Ideally applicants would possess experience in a similar environment along with a working knowledge of Healthy Schools. As a member of the catering team you would be expected to ensure prompt service of all meals and other refreshments at the required times to The Academy’s standards and the clients satisfaction.
